3 Quick Tips To Boost Sales
Three things you can do right now to increase your sales:

1) Use an exit popup window on your sales page. The pop-up should offer the visitor a substantial discount if they buy right now. I know exit pop-ups are nothing new. However, I’m amazed at the large number of sales sites I visit that don’t use them. And, I visit at least 25 a week to keep up with what is going on in the markets.
About 28% use exit pop-ups to capture potential lost sales. Exit pop-ups can increase sales by as much as 40%. My favorite is Virtual Smart Agent from Dave Guindon. I’m sure you have seen it at least once in your web travels.
2) Have a backend offer page for new email subscribers. If you offer a freebie to get people to signup to your list then you need a backend offer for your confirmation page. I’m going to assume you are using either AWeber or GetResponse autoresponder services. If not, then you need to. Their services are cheap, about $20.00/month, and they take most of the work out of managing email lists and messages.
Both of these services let you specify the confirmation page URL that the subscriber goes to when they click the confirmation link in the email they first get when subscribing. This confirmation page should be a sales letter with an enticing and exciting offer. Again, don’t forget to use an exit pop-up.
3) Use an up sell offer. When a visitor clicks on the buy button on your sales page it should take them to an up sell offer page, not to the checkout/payment page. They are already in the buying mood and have credit card in-hand. For example, they are getting a set of how to videos from the original offer, the up sell offers them another set of videos on a closely related topic at a BIG discount. You know the offer that says something such as “Save 50% if you get both…”
Bonus Tip: After the original purchase is completed the buyer should be automatically redirected to a thank you page or a download page for a digital product. Put another “Special Offer For Customers Only” on this page. Make it a complimentary product to the original purchase. For example, they bought a digital camera, you now offer a discount on a memory upgrades, lens cleaning kit, or a photo printer.
