More Tips On Article Writing

If you haven’t read the first post “5 Tips On Niche Article Marketing” I suggest you do that first and then come back to this post. That sets out the basic for starting your article marketing campaign and where to submit your articles for maximum exposure.
“The Green Mile” and why I didn’t go see it!
RULE #1 – Your title is the most important part of your article. Spend 50% of your efforts on the “TITLE” of your article. If your title doesn’t tell the reader about benefits or doesn’t raise curiosity or controversy chances are the article won’t get read… so spend a lot of time on it!
Are you the least bit curious as to why I didn’t see The Green Mile when it was released? Hopefully you are. I know it was released some years back, but the concept is current. I didn’t go see it because I figured it was a piece of ecoterrorist propaganda full of half-truths and misdirection. Although after watching the movie I understand the title’s relationship to the prison and death row, it’s still a bad title. I’m thinking I probably would have gone if the title was something like “The Regurgitator-Death Row’s Angel”. I know, I know! I’m one sick puppy, but it would grab my attention.

Be very specific:

Or…
… Is Long and Hard Better…
… In Just One Week!
… For Less Than The Price Of A Happy Meal…
… One Hour A Day…
Tell your reader the benefits in the title. Stir their curiosity or stimulate their ego. Go against the mainstream by offering a counterpoint. Read more
