Dear Tweeter,
The staff and management here at Twitter want to thank you for your membership and participation. As you probably know Twitter has become the fastest growing microblog on the web. Unfortunately, this phenomenal growth as resulted in an unsustainable cost to maintain and upgrade our servers and features. Effective July 1, 2009 a basic membership to Twitter will be $????? per month.
A basic membership entitles you to three tweets every 24 hours. This includes @replies and DM messages.
A gold membership at $????? lets you post, @reply and DM up to six times per 24 hours.
A platinum membership allows unlimited use of Twitter and is just $????? per month.
Please click on the “Join” button on your current home page and choose the membership level that is right for you. You’ll be directed to our secure payment page where you can enter your payment method and information. Your account will be automatically renewed every 30 days. You can cancel your membership or change your membership choice at anytime. The change will become effective at the beginning of your next monthly billing cycle.
Any current membership that has not chosen a new membership level by July 1, 2009 will be deactivated. You can reactivate your membership at anytime by selecting an appropriate membership level.
